Purdue ag economists Todd Kuethe, James Mintert, and Michael Langemeier will host a free webinar to break down the 2022 Purdue Farmland Values Survey results and the USDA’s Land Values report at 1:00 p.m. (EDT) August 24th. During the webinar the Purdue team will discuss findings from this year’s survey, including both regional and land productivity breakdowns.
The department of agricultural economics has been conducting the Purdue Farmland Value and Cash Rent Survey each June since the mid-1970s; the survey is produced through the cooperation of numerous professionals knowledgeable regarding Indiana’s farmland market. The survey results indicate farmland prices across Indiana hit record highs in June 2022 and cash rental rates for farmland rose again.
Registration is free on the Center’s website. Registered participants will receive a confirmation email with a link to view the webinar live at its scheduled time. Those unable to join live can register to receive a follow-up email after the webinar to download the slides and view the recording at their convenience.
