    DTN Grain Close: Markets Claw Back Gains; Kansas City Wheat Finishes Lower

    Wednesday saw a mostly favorable trading session in the ag space with gains led by soybeans and soymeal, which finished up 0.99% and 2.08%, respectively. Kansas City wheat turned in a disappointing session, closing down 6 cents on the day, the only contract to finish with losses.

    GENERAL COMMENTS:

    March corn closed up 4 cents and July corn was up 2 3/4 cents. January soybeans closed up 11 cents and March soybeans were up 8 1/2 cents. March KC wheat closed down 3 cents, March Chicago wheat was up 3 1/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was up 9 3/4 cents.

    The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.02 at 96.03. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 47.45 points at 34,531.17. February gold is up $6.10 at $1,782.60, March silver is down $0.50 at $22.32 and March copper is down $0.0510. January crude oil is down $0.32 at $65.86, January heating oil is up $0.0207, January RBOB gasoline is up $0.0131 and January natural gas is down $0.292.
