Peanuts: National Board Sets Quarterly Meeting In Albany in April

The National Peanut Board will hold its quarterly meeting in Albany, Ga., April 3-4 as part of its regular practice to meet with peanut producers in a different growing region each year. Previous Board meetings have taken place in the South Carolina, Mississippi, Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas and Alabama growing regions.

In addition to general sessions and committee meetings, a grower listening session is scheduled with the National Peanut Board and Georgia Peanut Commission.

The meeting will be held ahead of the American Peanut Sheller Association’s (APSA) 100th Anniversary event in Albany and the 2019 Industry Spring Conference in Leesburg.

All National Peanut Board meetings will take place at the Georgia Federal-State Inspection Service Building, 951 Pecan Grove Drive, Albany.
