About the presenter: Durand-Morat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness at the University of Arkansas. Before joining the University of Arkansas, he was a policy and economic advisor to the rice industry in Argentina. He has a B.S. in agricultural engineering, a M.Sc. degree in agricultural economics, and a Ph.D. in public policy. Dr. Durand-Morat specializes in agricultural trade, grain economics with emphasis on rice, and food policy.
