Peanut prices received by farmers for all farmer stock peanuts averaged 24.2 cents per pound for the week ending May 19, up 2.2 cents from the previous week. Marketings of all farmer stock peanuts for the week ending May 19 totaled 28.4 million pounds, down 49.6 million pounds from the previous week.
Runner-type peanut prices averaged 23.7 cents per pound for the week ending May 19, up 1.9 cents from the previous week. Marketings of runner-type peanuts totaled 16.9 million pounds, down 58.5 million pounds from the previous week.
