Ag distributor Pinnacle Operating Corporation announced today that Kenny Cordell will step down as president and CEO of the company in the coming months.

After the transition is completed, he will become a member of the board of directors. In the meantime, he will continue to serve in his current capacities until a successor is named.

During Cordell’s tenure, Pinnacle experienced significant growth, diversifying the company’s geographic footprint to become one of the largest U.S. national ag distributors.

“I am extremely proud of what Pinnacle has accomplished since its inception and am excited to be part of the company’s next phase of growth as a member of Pinnacle’s board,” Cordell said in a statement. “I have had the privilege of working alongside an extraordinarily talented and motivated employee base at Pinnacle and I have no doubt in Pinnacle’s ability to continue to serve as a true partner to the farming community in the U.S.”

The company’s operating units and brands now include Sanders, AgVenture Pinnacle, OptiGro, Innvictis Crop Care, LLC, Meridian Agriculture Distribution and Altitude Crop Innovations.
