Texas Fall Symposium: Agriculture, Intellectual Property, and Feeding the World, Oct. 28

For its Fall 2016 Symposium, Texas A&M Law Review will host Agriculture, Intellectual Property, and Feeding the World in the 21st Century on October 28, 2016.

The Symposium will facilitate scholarly discussion regarding the current legal framework for agriculture and address specific questions related to genetic advancements in plant and animal breeding and the use of these technological advancements to meet the needs of our world’s growing population.

A key expected outcome of the symposium is the development of policy-focused proposals to ensure that the current legal framework provides support for issues that both producers and consumers face in relation to food safety and food production.
