Winter wheat planted was 89 percent, near 87 last year. Emerged was 44 percent, ahead of 35 last year.
Corn condition rated 1 percent very poor, 8 poor, 21 fair, 59 good, and 11 excellent. Corn mature was 79 percent, well ahead of 53 last year, and ahead of 73 for the five-year average. Harvested was 6 percent, ahead of 1 last year, but behind 12 average.
Soybean condition rated 2 percent very poor, 8 poor, 27 fair, 55 good, and 8 excellent. Soybeans harvested was 70 percent, well ahead of 28 last year and 45 average.
Canola harvested was 100 percent, ahead of 95 last year, but near 96 average.
Sunflower condition rated 0 percent very poor, 9 poor, 21 fair, 64 good, and 6 excellent. Sunflowers bracts turning yellow was 97 percent, ahead of 86 last year and 92 average. Bracts turning brown was 81 percent, well ahead of 51 last year, and ahead of 67 average. Harvested was 7 percent, ahead of 0 last year, but near 6 average.
Flaxseed harvested was 97 percent, well ahead of 74 last year, and ahead of 82 average.
Dry edible beans harvested was 95 percent, well ahead of 60 last year and 73 average.
