The weekly U.S. Drought Monitor Report gives you a snapshot of where it’s too dry in a given part of the country at a given time. We’ve assembled the last years’ worth of drought monitor reports in order to take a quick look at how some areas have improved and how others remained largely unchanged.
We asked Pam Knox, who is a climatologist for the Crop and Soil Sciences Department at the University of Georgia, to narrate this progression in soil moisture conditions.
