The West Florida Research and Education Center will host a Pomegranate Seminar on Monday, February 24, 2014. Dr. Bill Castle, Professor Emeritus from the UF Ctirus Research and Education Center will discuss pomegranates and the potential for growth here in northwest Florida.
Seminar topics will include:
- History of Pomegranates
- Botany
- Cultivars
- Cultural Practices
- Recommendations on what cultivars to plant
