Traders often suggest to follow the
beans....well which way and how? These markets are crazy and so I'm
not in any rush to judgement.
Cotton initially recovered half its loss from
Friday, (grains went limit bid) then gave it back. W Texas received
beneficial rains and the US crop therefore looks to be accurately
moving toward projected goals. However, there is still time for the
crop to move either way. I like the long side. Why? The world crop
is small and the surplus of US cotton will be moving in the export
market at current values. I believe that sets up for stronger
prices.
Technically, Dec is in a downtrend and 65 cents
is a very real possibility. I suggest taking advanatge of the
weakness and looking to sell puts underneath and buyiwide call
spreads for a long term trade..
